Hi, I’m Ashley, the founder of True North ABA. I have worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for more than 10 years, including the past seven years as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in several roles, including working directly with clients, supporting staff as a training coordinator, and leading clinical teams as a clinical director. Most of my experience has been with school-aged children, which is where I truly found my passion.

I love helping children build meaningful skills that support their independence, confidence, and everyday success. I am also passionate about mentoring team members and helping professionals grow in their roles. My approach centers on practical strategies, collaboration, compassion, and creating positive changes that can make a lasting difference for the entire family.

Outside of work, I am part of a military family and a proud mom of two children. Our home is also shared with a dog and a cat, so life is rarely quiet, but it is always full of love and adventure. My experiences as a parent and military family member have strengthened my understanding of the importance of flexibility, consistency, and having a dependable support system.

Why True North Was Created

Over the years, I have worked for both large and small organizations. While each has its own benefits, I have always felt most connected to smaller companies where decisions are made locally, communication is more personal, and the needs of clients and families remain at the center of the work.

I created True North ABA because I wanted to build a company where clinical decisions are guided by what is best for each child and family—not by rapid expansion, quotas, or the overall profitability of a large organization. I believe families deserve individualized care, consistent communication, and a team that takes the time to truly understand their goals. Hi, I’m Ashley, the founder of True North ABA. True North ABA was founded to provide thoughtful, family-centered care that puts quality, ethics, and meaningful progress first. My goal is to help families feel supported, heard, and confident as we work together to guide their child toward their greatest potential.

Our Philosophy

We believe that meaningful progress comes from meaningful relationships. That is why every client at True North ABA works directly with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, not just a technician following a protocol from afar.

Our growth is intentionally slow because we refuse to sacrifice quality for scale. When we take on a new family, we are making a commitment to be fully present, clinically rigorous, and deeply invested in their journey.

Our Values

Client-first, always.

Where quality comes first, every time.

Clinical excellence without compromise.

Relationships built on trust and transparency.

A Different Kind of ABA Company

True North ABA was founded on a simple belief: families deserve better. Better attention, better communication, and better clinical care. We are an intentionally small ABA therapy provider and we plan to stay that way.
